The Amelia Island Museum of History, housed in the old Nassau County jail, focuses its exhibits on the history of Nassau County, but provides tours and special events that cater to various interests and age levels.  The West Nassau Museum of History, located in the elevated freight room of the Callahan train depot, houses a unique collection of artifacts contributed by local residents.  The White Oak Conservation, a 7,400-acre property dedicated to endangered wildlife is located in western Nassau County.  We are home to three theater groups - the Amelia Community Theatre, Fernandina Little Theater and Amelia Musical Playhouse.

The NCEDB exists because of the generous support of the Nassau County Board of Commissioners, our local municipalities and economic development partners.
